Endings are never easy, are they?

The corridors feel longer today. A final cycle ride through old routes, cherishing the privilege of having something—and someone—so precious to miss.

Endings are never easy, are they?
Endings are never easy, are they?
Realizing things are ending
Days are about to change
And faces to be replaced

The days when we laughed together
The nights we cried together
The days we felt victorious
The nights we felt lost

It's time, though
Time to walk ahead
Time to begin again
Time to become who I once dreamed of

So, go ahead and
Take that one last walk through the corridors
Cycle through the old routes
Share a moment with that same group
And remember.

How lucky I feel
To be privileged to miss some people
To have walked the same roads alongside
To have shared a piece of my life

It's not sad though
Having grown through these years
Collecting memories from bits and pieces
Memories were always strange, weren't they?

And endings are never easy, are they?
