I set sail for another hour
If faith has brought me this far, then faith shall sail me yonder. A fearless step out of the night and into the rosy dawn of a new beginning.
Here! sets sail another hour,
In Gulmohar's bloom speaks the spring,
'A page afresh, now you shall turn,
Of bygone hours may you sing.'
A time apt to reflect and pause
The fourth hour of a rosy dawn,
To turn around to behold the past,
of all I gained and all I lost.
Now in this fair realm of mine,
I have no friends but only two,
For Faith and solitude, stood by me
when there stood with me few.
In a dazed state, o'er shadowed ways,
With not a soul to shine a light,
On solitude's counsel I relied,
And stepped out fearless from the night
If all the shackles I did melt,
And through the clouds I could thunder;
If faith has brought me this far,
Then faith shall sail me yonder.
But in raging storms and burning trials,
Whose soothing hand I felt so near?
'Twas God who chose the course to steer,
And stilled the tide of every fear.
Fortune's favourite I've not been
But by grace, afore the curtains fell
I emerged on the centre stage,
A hero who has been through hell.
And Here! I sang of bygone hours,
A page afresh I'm ready to turn,
May the Gulmohar bless my soul,
I paused to reflect, and now 'tis done!
In Gulmohar's bloom speaks the spring,
'A page afresh, now you shall turn,
Of bygone hours may you sing.'
A time apt to reflect and pause
The fourth hour of a rosy dawn,
